If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Disability access
If you have any special needs please let our staff know so that we can help and ensure you get the same support in the future.
Wheelchair access
Both sites have access for the disabled including, wheel chair ramps, extra wide doors and corridors and toilets. At Vernon Street the ramp is located at the rear of the building accessed via York Street. Vernon Street also has a lift installed connecting the downstairs with the upstairs waiting areas. Due to fire regulations, we do have heavy fire doors, however if you have trouble opening these please ask reception for assistance as they are always happy to help.
There are dedicated disabled car parking spaces available at the surgery.
We have a disabled toilet available for patients on the ground floor.
