In light of the evolving coronavirus pandemic, The Vernon and Lanes Medical Centre will be moving to a telephone appointment system with immediate effect.
This is in line with similar actions taken by other GP surgeries and follows guidance issued by the Health Secretary on March 10, 2020
We apologies for the inconvenience, but this is essential to minimise social contact and ensure the safety of all our patients and staff.
If you come to the waiting room to book a face to face appointment, we will advise you to leave immediately and ring us to discuss a telephone triage appointment.
All booked appointments will be triaged via telephone, 1 working day prior to the appointment and advised of how the appointment will be carried out.
To ensure we maintain available phone lines please do not telephone the surgery unless absolutely necessary.
