The 13th August we were finally able to “stand down” the ‘red hub’ site, based at the University of Derby Kedleston Road site, which your local NHS set up to assess people suspected of having Covid-19.
This specialist open-air hub was incredibly valuable as we entered the first phase of work in response to the global pandemic, to allow all our NHS services to remain open, reorganise as needed, and work as well as possible during this time.
All NHS services still remain open and covid-secure.
We couldn’t have put together and made this hub work without the help and support of our patients, community, and lots of other individuals and organisations.
We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped protect our NHS and save lives.
All Derby City GP practices and all in the city primary care network would particularly like to thank:
