Extended Access / Primary Care Plus (PCP)

The Vernon Street Medical Centre is working with 16 other practices to provide a GP extended access service. Together we are a Community Interest company called Primary Care Plus. To better support the needs of our patient population.

The service is available:

• Monday to Friday: 18:30 – 20:00
• Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 – 12:00

There will be a wide range of services available from GP appointments to Advanced Nerse Practitioners appointments along with a range of clinics for Dressings, Phlebotomy (blood taking), Smear Clinics, Long Term condition clinics (Asthma, COPD and Diabetes) and specialised Asthma clinics in conjunction with Royal Derby Hospital.
